Three checks before re-meshing
Look at the frame, the corners and the fixings. If all three are sound, new mesh gives the screen a second life.

Signs the mesh is finished
Old mesh rarely fails in one day. It fades, then turns stiff, then splits along the frame where it is stretched the most.

When the mosquito net mesh is fine
A screen that sticks or drags usually has sand in the track or worn rollers. New mesh will not fix that; cleaning and adjustment will.

What we do not re-mesh
Velcro and magnetic curtains, where the mesh is the whole product. Frames with cracked corners. Frames that no longer fit the opening after a renovation.
Honest downside
We do not re-mesh a bent frame. The new mesh would not sit right, so a new screen is the better choice.

What our clients say
The existing nets had holes from sun damage. They replaced them with UV-resistant mesh that should last much longer.
We wanted nets that wouldn't block the view too much. They installed very fine black mesh that's almost invisible from inside. Perfect.

Which mesh should I choose when you re-mesh?
Standard suits most windows. Metal and aluminium mesh are also on our list.
Why did my last mesh only last a season?
Usually cheap mesh on the sunny side, a screen pulled by the mesh instead of the handle, or a cat. Tell us which, and we pick the mesh for it.
My screen sticks and will not slide. Is that the mesh?
Rarely. It is usually sand in the track or worn rollers, which is a repair and adjustment job.
Can you re-mesh a whole villa?
Yes. Send photos with the number of screens of each size, and we give the sum per screen before we come.
