Pleated, sliding or retractable: which mosquito net fits
For doors you walk through all day, pleated is usually the best fit: it folds to the side and runs on a low flat track. Sliding screens suit sliding windows where a track already exists. Retractable roller screens are neat on windows you open less often. The opening decides, not the brochure.

Where each one lets you down

Which screen lasts longest?
It depends more on sun and use than on type. Moving parts wear: springs on rollers, cords on pleated. We give 5 years on the frame and 2 on the mechanism.
Which is cheapest per m²?
A screen with standard mesh starts from 350 AED per m². Roller screens start from 1,000 AED per m².
Which one for a sliding door?
Usually pleated: it sits in front of the leaves and the low flat track is easy to step over.
