Islands or mainland: the mosquito net differs
On Saadiyat, Yas, Al Reem and the Corniche the enemy is salt air and wind at height. Aluminium frames with powder coating and reinforced mesh cope with both.
In Khalifa City, MBZ, Al Reef and Al Shamkha it is heat and sand. Here anti-dust mesh on the side facing the wind earns its price.
Homes near Jubail Island and Eastern Mangroves see more mosquitoes in the evening: mangroves hold water, so screen every window, not just the bedroom.

What our clients say
The existing nets had holes from sun damage. They replaced them with UV-resistant mesh that should last much longer.
We wanted nets that wouldn't block the view too much. They installed very fine black mesh that's almost invisible from inside. Perfect.
The nets in the guest room were torn and looked messy. They replaced them with new fiberglass mesh and the room looks fresh again.

Usually a pleated screen on the balcony door with reinforced mesh, because wind at height is strong.
