A mosquito net over the bed or screens on the windows?
A bed net protects one sleeper for the night. A window screen protects the whole room, day and evening, and nobody has to tuck anything in. For a home in Abu Dhabi, screens on the windows and doors you open are the lasting fix. A bed net is a quick stopgap, and we do not sell them.

When a bed net makes sense
The first nights with a new baby, a guest room used a few times a year, a short stay, a trip. Anywhere you need protection tonight rather than for years.
It also suits a cot that moves between rooms, or a night at a desert camp where nothing is screened.
A bed net is cheaper, honestly
A bed net costs less and you can hang it tonight. We do not sell them, and we would not talk you out of one for a child’s room on the first night.
Why we only make window mosquito nets
A screen at the opening stops insects before they enter, so the whole room stays free and the window can stay open.
Each one is made to measure and comes with 5 years on the frame.

Step 1 of 5What opening is it for?
Three homes, three answers
A family villa with a garden and a pool: mosquitoes come in through the terrace and patio doors every evening. A bed net guards only the sleeper, so screen those doors first.
A one-bedroom flat in a tower: often the only thing you open at night is the bedroom window. One screen on it keeps the room free for years, with nothing to tuck in.
A guest room opened a few times a year: a folded bed net kept in a drawer is honestly enough.
What our clients say
The existing nets had holes from sun damage. They replaced them with UV-resistant mesh that should last much longer.
We wanted nets that wouldn't block the view too much. They installed very fine black mesh that's almost invisible from inside. Perfect.
The nets in the guest room were torn and looked messy. They replaced them with new fiberglass mesh and the room looks fresh again.
Mistakes with a mosquito net
Bites under a bed net usually mean the fabric rested on an arm or a corner came loose in the night. A mosquito bites through netting that touches skin.
- A bed net in a room where the window stays open all day
- A net too short to tuck under the mattress
- A screened bedroom window, but an open balcony door next to it
- Screening windows nobody opens, and missing the door used every evening

Questions and answers
Is a bed net enough for a baby room?
For the first nights, yes. For the long run, screens on the windows protect the whole room without anything to tuck in.
Can I use both?
Yes. A net over the cot and screens on the windows work well together.
Will a window screen block the breeze in the bedroom?
A standard mesh lets most of the breeze through and you still see out. A finer fabric moves less air, so we suggest it only when tiny biters are the problem.
Which windows should I screen first?
The ones you open in the evening and at night: bedroom windows, then the balcony or terrace door. Windows kept shut for the air conditioning can wait.
